|For the the auxilliary worship service, music both with and without words, is woven throughout to enhance the worship service. The length of the service is governed by the number of people who chose to share as defined by the outline below:|
PRAISE – Leader opens with praise.
o I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations (Psalms 108:3).
TESTIMONY, PROCLAMATION, THANKSGIVING – Each person may give individual testimony of what God has done (2-3 minutes per person or as time allows).
WHAT GOD EXPECTS FROM US “ALTERNATING” WITH WHAT GOD PROMISES – This can be pulled up on a computer and/or printed out. Use key words “what God expects from us’ and “what God promises” (alternate reading as time allows).
o WHAT GOD EXPECTS:
§ He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.
§ One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
§ And He said to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.” This is the great and foremost commandment.
§ The second is like it, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
§ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.
§ If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
§ If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
§ And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
§ Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,
§ does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
§ does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
§ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
§ Love never fails;
o WHAT GOD PROMISES:
§ “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope”.
§ Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
§ You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
§ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
